Just before going into the Christmas Break we had a home game against the Rockets.  In our previous meeting at the end of a three game road trip, fatigue took its toll and we had lost by four goals.  It was a whole different story this time around.  During the whole game the teams traded goals and traded leads as the pace was fast.  Unfortunately, in the third period, we got down by two goals, were able to get one back but came up a bit short of being able to tie the game.  The result was a 7-6 home loss.

For his efforts during the game, Major Cardin was the recipient of the hard hat.  The captain's selected Major because  he had two goals in the game adding to his total for the year.  Great Job, Major.  Next up is a 3 game homestand on Jan 3 and 4.
