Both defenses battled it out, but Lady Blues prevailed over Springfield Spirit Peewees 2 - zero at Fenton on Saturday. Lady Blues tallied up one unanswered goal to take the lead in the first period. Neither team scored in the second period so Lady Blues held on to its lead. The Lady Blues defense took over in the final period. In the final period Lady Blues scored one goal sealing the deal and winning the game.

This was the first game of the season for Lady Blues.
