Ryan Moon smashes two goals as Springfield Spirit Peewees allows few shots to get the narrow victory

In a tightly contested game, Springfield Spirit Peewees won against Affton 3 - 1 at MIP on Sunday. Springfield Spirit Peewees scored one goal to jump in to the lead in the first period. Neither team scored in the second period so Springfield Spirit Peewees kept its lead. In the last period, with defenses wearing down, Springfield Spirit Peewees scored two goal to Affton's 1 and kept the lead to win the game.

Showing off a strong stick, Ryan Moon netted two goals for Springfield Spirit Peewees and also had one helper. Chancellor Coger added one goal for Springfield Spirit Peewees. Hazelrigg, Garnier, and Bauer each added one assist for Springfield Spirit Peewees.

This was the season opener for Affton but Springfield Spirit Peewees entered the game with a record of 9-4.
